Changes to Monitor Command Manual, SAILON 54.4, as of 11/3/74:

In the device list on p. 7, should be UDP1 not UDP0.

On p. 10, the ETV command runs E directly, not via RPG.

On p. 17, the system WHO line now starts with the number of IIIs in use.

On p. 34, a new INIT option for LOGIN runs DSK:INIT.DMP after logging in.
Only one of LOGRUN, INIT, and PORNO allowed (decreasing order of winnage).

On p. 35, LOGOUT records the date and time of logout in the "creation date"
entry in your UFD, and types and deletes DSK:LOGOUT.MSG if any, if you are
not logged in elsewhere.

Several changes have been made to the MAIL system (appendix 4).  The main
ones are a swap-to-E capability in both MAIL and RCV, and a new RCV
command structure.  Read MAIL.BH[UP,DOC] and RCV.BH[UP,DOC] for details.

11/19/74:
On p. 41, add to the list of WHO commands:
  V   only display jobs belonging to Volleyball players.  (To be added to
      or removed from the list, see the User Services Department.)

Still more MAIL changes, including the new EVENT command.  Read
MAIL.BH and RCV.BH again.

On p.17, the TTY number in the WHO line is followed with the character "#"
if this WHO line is not the one for the job attached to the terminal where
it is being displayed.

12/4/74:
On page 20 (Data Disc control), channels used by terminals are now
normally public, rather than private.  Also, the command ESC <n> M
where n is a Data Disc line number maps your keyboard to that line
if the line is public, so characters you type are seen by the other
line's job.  ESC M maps you back.

The ATTACH command is not allowed to non-local guest users except to
attach a job of their own PPN.  Since NET,GUE no longer exists, the
effect of this is that not-logged-in remote users may not use the
ATTACH command.  Also, remote users may not use KATTACH; instead, use
ATTACH and then KILL the other job.

When reloading the system because of a crash in the absence of a
system programmer, please first load the paper tape labelled BOOT,
which saves core on the disk.  Hit RESET and READ IN, and wait for
the CTY to type crlf, then reload.

LOGIN now has a HIDE option, since the default for Data Disc channels
is now unhidden.

12/13/74:
Starting WHO with REENTER will list its display on the line printer.

ESC n M implies automatic ESC S.

12/15/74:
Any job may INIT or OPEN the UDP if it has been assigned in PUBLIC mode.
(I.e., it need not be ASSIGNed by each job.)
